Context
Many businesses manage finances in spreadsheets that only one person understands. When that person is away, reporting halts. PartnerBooks originated from the need of an accounting domain partner who wanted bookkeeping tools non-accountant teams could follow without sacrificing data integrity.
Role of KOLARIS
KOLARIS is responsible for product design and engineering: mapping workflows with partners, designing interfaces, developing the web application alongside APIs and database, and preparing staged releases. Accounting domain expertise is provided by the domain partner.
What Was Built
The focus at this stage is getting the foundation right: data structures supporting multiple entities, rapid transaction entry, and accessible reporting. Advanced features will be iterated with partners once the foundation is verified.
